Serve together

Serving together is a wonderful way to build meaningful memories as a group while sharing your faith in both words and deeds!

There are many opportunities to serve together that are routine and predictable (as in, you can schedule for it as a group):

• Serve Opportunities: These begin at our Serve page on our website HERE, so start there when exploring options. You can also take the “Gifts Test” to identify how God has made you uniquely and where you might most enjoy serving!

• Weekend Teams: Our parking team would love to have some extra hands on deck. Our zKidz ministry would love to have more people serving on a weekend.

• Events: What if your group were to volunteer together in helping out at major events (Easter egg hunt, CultureFest, Men’s or Women’s conferences, Harvest Fest, Christmas…). Just watch for the sign up opportunity in the newsletter.

• Serve Day: This comes around every November when we go out into our community to rake the leaves for seniors and lockins in our community. There are always many more requests for help than there are teams available, so we can absorb as many groups as want to serve! This is typically the 2nd or 3rd weekend in November, so keep an eye on the newsletter, and when you see “Serve Day” come up, get your group to sign up, show up and join in!

• Outreach Day: If your group would like to serve together at the food pantry, clothing boutique or a social service in the area, the most direct way to connect with that is to reach out to Mark at mavery@zcc.live.
